Brid too artful for Beverley Town
Artfuldodgerny.com FC 5 Beverley Town Res 2
Overall Artfuldodgerny deserved the win but Beverley Town had shown great spirit to pull a two-goal deficit back in the first half with Whitehead scoring both.
Brid regained the lead right on half-time with a great strike from the edge of the box.
The game changed on some debatable decisions in the second half.
Firstly Town were denied a one-on-one opportunity when offiside was given and a few minutes later a Brid player, who appeared to be offside, was allowed to go through and score.
Town were denied on two further occasions by contested offside decisions.
Brid's fifth came a couple of minutes from the end.

Long Riston Res 1 Hedon Rangers Res 5
With bottom-placed Long Riston Reserves taking on second-placed Hedon Rangers Reserves it was always going to be a hard game for the underdogs.
The early part of the match was very even with both sides creating chances.
Hedon took the lead but before long a fine solo goal for Riston saw them draw level.
It looked as if it may go to half-time as 1-1 but two quick goals made it 3-1 as Hedon overwhelmed the home side in a short five- minute spell.
Riston hit the bar and went close with another chance only for the visitors to break away and end the half 4-1 to the good.
The second half saw Riston have slightly more possession and unlucky on several occasions not to pull one or two goals back.
Hedon held out and then scored a fifth near the end to finish 5-1 winners.
Riston deserved more for their hard work.
