Brid look to get back on track

Friday, February 05, 2010, 05:40

Following the surprising 4-2 home defeat to Parkgate on Tuesday, Bridlington Town continue their two matches per week sequence with a home game against Liversedge on Saturday and then the derby with Scarborough Athletic at Queensgate on Tuesday night.

Town raced into a two-goal lead against Parkgate with goals from Wayne Wallace (6) and Nathan Hotte (21), but the visitors levelled before half-time through Nathan Swindells (23) and Gascoign (30).

Leon Wainman put Parkgate ahead eight minutes into the second half and Swindells wrapped it up with 11 minutes to go.

The only upside for Town was the signing of striker Craig Hogg from tenants Scarborough Athletic before the game.

Brid from: Wilberforce, Woodhead, Belt, Sharman, Dexter, Giblin, Allanson, Lee, Wallace, Hotte, Harrison, Fleming, Burdick, Hogg, Wilkinson, Rhodes, Mountford, Gibson, Ranson, Chippendale and Kidd.
