Rangers search for elusive victory

Friday, February 05, 2010, 05:40

After another enforced break, Hall Road will hope to host Winterton Rangers at Dene Park tomorrow.

Rangers' last two games have been victims of the weather, last weekend's at Lincoln Moorlands, and the midweek visit to Shirebrook.

Since the last game manager Martin Thacker has strengthened his squad with the signings of Craig Suddaby and Paul Wilson from Barton Town OB, the latter returning to the club for the third time.

Thacker will probably be able to select from the strongest squad he's had available since he took over, and will be hoping to get some points from this game.

When Rangers visited Winterton earlier in the season they put up a great performance only to go down 3-2 under unfortunate circumstances as many neutrals felt they deserved at least a point.

Rangers will want to put things right this time and will be looking to even the score as they try to get their season back on track, as they look for their first victory since October.

Hall Road from: Burley, Ingram, Cattermole, Gilbey, Blount, Hall, Suddaby, Macklin, Walker, Robbins, Thacker, Palmer, Jackman, McGarry, Bowsley, Wilson, Friend,
