You played any teams in a friendly who you think will do well? All Suggestions welcome from Div 6 to the prem. I was impressed with Darleys Fc, Played some very good football, very quick and direct. They are Div 2 wyke i believe. I think my own team Queens Park could be up there in Myton 2 Anyways good luck everyone |

Good strong team who are well organised. Queens Park impressed me when they played us in a friendly and when I saw them the previous week against AFC Biggin Spitfires, good footballing side who like to play the ball on the deck and with some really quick forwards so they can break with pace. In our division (Wilberforce & Larkin in Division 4 Myton) we know Cock & Bell quite well having played them twice over the summer and I fancy they'll challenge for the league. In Myton Division 6 I think Hull Wanderers will have a massively different season than last. We played them once with our 'A' Team and four times with our 'B' Team over the summer and you could see them progressing and getting better. I see they start at home to Parkwood who we also played in a friendly recently. Parkwood gave us a decent game but if you could bet on Sunday League football I'd fancy Hull Wanderers to win that one. A new team in Wyke Division 5 who our 'B' Team played is FC Hotpot. They knocked the ball around fairly well and looked like a decent young side so I reckon they could have a good first season. I'd be interested to hear what people think of sides in Myton Division 4. As well as Cock & Bell we've seen Marist 'B', Glebe Rangers and Charlton 'B' play this summer so we know a little. I'm told by a few folk that Eddie Beedle are the side to look out for? |

Can get a good idea of how strong teams are, as you can look at previous seasons results, standings and such. Pretty useful site to get an idea of who's going to be tough and who aint. Good Luck for the season, il keep an eye out for your results. |

Should be a good season for wilberforce and larkin in myton 4 i was there all pre season and i was impressed with the way that they want to play football the right way and seem to be a well run club with a manager who has played at a good at a good level and should be the team to look out for and should be seen as real contenders in the league. They also have a good midfield with a real good in depth squad with many players fighting for a place. The only thing they lack is a bit of numbers at the back i would reccomend them to any one! |

It will be a very close league. I dont think the leagues are balanced out theres been division 5 teams beating division 2+3 teams. there need sorting out properly for next season. |

Also played AFC Hull from myton 3 load of young lads but dont be fooled they play a bit, run all day long, at times it was like catching fog. FC Hotpot were a good team myton 5 knock it about nicely. Bit to early to call at the moment but hope my team Bilton Lions get in top four in myton 5 but it looks like a tough league. |

Here's to some exciting football and memorable games along the way played in the right spirit & trouble free for all the divisions, just one thing lacking is the weather !!! |
