Hi Boss do you feel people are warming to you since you have taken over as i like many thouhgt it was all a bit dodgy and you were only in it for a fast buck, but i feel now you are starting to make an inpact and are commited to our great club
Mike, Hornsea

Hi Mike. Change is always unsettling so I understand your concerns but I have no doubts about my motivation or commitment so I am happy to be judged on the facts at the end of the season.

Good afternoon, Mr Duffen. Since we are fast becoming one of the biggest and best teams in the world, how long will it be before Hull City TV is introduced? It's what the public are crying out for.

I posted this yesterday in the comments but thought I would on here again anyway

Mr Duffen Firstly well done so far on your reign , I like a few others had doubts but you have dispelled them showing great ambition capped off with what I already believe to be the best signing in tigers history! Anyway I would like to know ,

will you be following on a tradition set my Mr Pearson and holding a fans forum at the end of the season, Secondly ,

If we are hovering around the play offs will you be pushing your investment up a level to see if we can reach the promised land this season? ,

Thirdly , Have your expectations now increased like most of teh fans expectations have? if so where do you want to see us this season now?,

Cheers Gavin (dazed from HCO and vital)

hi paul, glad to see you on here. i was wondering your longer term plans for the KC and surrounding ground? is the casino still in the plans and stadium expansion?

it would be interesting to see the club driving forward with this kind of investment which i think we can do with you at the helm

Mr Duffen, With the influx of money into the game seemingly never ending, do you think that more clubs will go bust in the near future, or can you see the Football League sustaining the present numbers?

Hi Paul - How are you settling to life in Hull? Have you been enjoying the recent performances of the Tigers? Are there any areas of the team which you think still need improving?

There doesnt seem to me to be a set of teams in the championship this year who look like real play off, champions or runners-up prospects.....Can we perhaps expect a play off push this season?

Welcome to Hull City Paul, congratulations on the signing of JJ which could be an Absolute masterstroke. You’re background is in the multimedia industry, I have some questions that relate to that side of Club? • Can we have an official Hull City podcast, possibly utilising the excellent KCFM interviews • The Official Web Site although slight improvement recently) seems to me very poor in content, especially compared to other clubs (i.e, lacking in match action pictures, downloads, interactivity, motm votes ) see Nottingham Forest as an excellent example • What other products can we expect in the future using todays technology? replays over wi-fi

Mr Duffen, how pleased are you with the current strenght in depth of the first team squad? Are there likely to be any loan signings? Regarding the Chelsea situation, do you think a chairman should interfere in the way the first team play and force players upon a manager? Have you been in contact with Jose to get an insight on how he thinks they can be beaten next week?
Rob and James, Hull

Hi Guys. I am very pleased with the results of our summer recruitment activity and know that we now have a much improved squad in all areas. There may be room for more new additions as the season progresses particularly if we suffer injuries to key players but nothing in the pipeline at the moment. I have complete confidence in Phil Brown's abilities and whilst we have a regular and healthy dialogue about team matters I would not interfere with his selection decisions. Jose who??

Mr Duffen - it was always rumoured Adam Pearson read Hull City fans forums..such as City Independent website and the amber nectar. Do you ever read any of these Hull City Forums? Do you/would ever comment?

Hi Paul. I do not believe that there is yet a proven commercial model for interactive TV but I do intend the club to be at the forefront of technology and the launch of Hull TV is only a matter of time.

With our attendances being down along with season ticket sales is this a concern as our wage bill must be huge, are we covering the costs?

Adam Pearson was proud to saying he wouldnt over spend etc....
What are your thoughts on this issue?

Yes I will be holding at least 2 fans forums this season but I can't confirm the dates until I have checked Burnsy's diary! My ambition this season is to finish in the top half of the Championship and I believe that we now have the squad to acheive that. If we nick a play off spot all well and good but we have a plan and I intend to deliver on it. My forecast of this year's position was based on the assumption that we would sign the players that have recently joined the Club - it hasn't been a surprise to me.

Yes there are plans to invest in the environment around the stadium to improve the area and bring more jobs to West Park. The option to enlarge the stadium (as was originally envisaged) is being actively considered as part of a larger plan but all that is for the future and will involve detailed negotiations with the councli and other key stakeholders. For the time being I am purely focused on winning games of football and improving the quality of the product we offer our fans.

Dear Mr Duffen,

The half time problem of slow service exists... Whilst it is not a massive priority within the club, it does however frustrate many of us.

The problem is the time, we have 15 minutes to buy our pint, drink it and sit down. In reality we stand cueing for 15 minutes, gulp our pint down and pop to the loo - by which point Hull City will have scored three goals and taken the lead .

Therefore, would you be able to look into improvements and the efficientcy of the service at half time please?

Paul, have you relocated to the area or are you based elsewhere in the country? Did you consider any other clubs before taking over at City?

There is no doubt that it is becoming more difficult to sustain the finances of an ambitious Championship Club and there is the danger of more clubs going into administration unless there is a substantial increase in the distribution of Premier League money. However, there always seem to be people prepared to jump into the void and whilst I do not forsee a change in the numbers of Football League clubs there is undoubtedly pressure to explore new revenue streams that can supplement footbal income.
