Good afternoon everyone I'm willing to answer any of your questions regarding Hull FC.
I'll start by responding to today's back page story and give my response to Peter Sharp's comments.
I back what Peter has said, we have a very strong squad and just need to tinker with it's makeup rather than make wholesale changes.

James, Congratulations on the job you are currently doing at Hull FC, its good to have a more vibrant and media friendly CEO these days.

I would like to ask the following questions, obviously you may not have time to answer all but best endeavours appreciated;

1) How many 20/25 spaces have the club filled for the 2008 season?

2) What is the date for the re-scheduled hearing from the Caravan Park derby and what actions have the club taken to identify and ban the culprits?

3) If we do not manage to sign any more players, are the club happy that we have adequate coverage for every position next season, especially in the back line and specifically Full Back?

Hi James.

When I look back at the season I do so with great encouragement, our academy made it to their 3rd straight final, Berrigan is joining us on a 4 year deal and we somehow finished the season in 4th despite the adversity and difficulty thrown at us.

I’d like to ask given the impending rule changes to the quota system and the requirement to progressively increase the squad with academy produced players that we will finally get our rewards for having the best academy system in SL?

Hello, Monday was a record opening day of sales for the club with over 400 passes sold. We are delighted with the sales, particularly when you consider that many season pass brouchers have been delayed from reaching the fans by the recent postal strikes.

Has the make up of the 2008 fixtures been decided yet. How many derby games will there be excluding the Millenium Magic and what grounds will they be at?

Hi Airliebird, the details normally come out late November. We do not have a specific date at this moment in time.

I think we are already seeing the rewards in terms of having so many Hull-born players playing in our first team.
The likes of Wheeldon, Washbrook, Houghton, Lee, Hall, Horne, Yeaman have all come through our systems. That is an achievement we are very proud of and I know our fans appreciate having so many Hull lads in the team.
With the impending franchise requirements many clubs will have concerns over the lack of club-trained players in their squads. Thankfully that is something we do not have to concern ourselves with.

There are so many rumours surrounding our signings that we simply do not respond to any of them in stead we focus on the facts and we will ensure our fans are the first to know through every available communication channel when we have facts and or signings to announce.

Whilst i appreciate you will not give any names with regards to team strengthening can you tell us if we are actually in negotiations with anyone, or as it seems from Sharpys strory in todays HDM that we are just monitoring the situation.

Discussions with players are on going pre, during and post season.
We never stop talking to players and agents with regard to short, medium and long term planning, with regard to squad development.

Hi James, thanks for joining us today.
Does "through every available communication channel " include Radio Humberside?

Is anything been done to increase the capacity the KC can hold to maximise our derby attendance?

Im assuming we can't hit full capacity due to the number of unreserved pass holders, if this is the case, are we looking to increase the number of reserved seating? you could at least extend the east stand reserved seating by a block and introduce some reserved seating into the south stand.

Another option would be to give unreserved pass holders to pick a seat for the derby match, by bringing in the match voucher to the ticket office weeks before the match, and make the match an all ticket, all seats assigned to each fan.

We can easily fill the stadium to it capacity, so something must be done to ensure we dont lose these thousands of pounds we are losing due to the limited capacity.

Unfortunately it does not. The channels we will use are InTouch text messaging service, our e-mail news letter the Black and White Grapevine, club website, KCFM, Viking FM and of course our partners at the HDM.
We have no plans to lift the ban currently in place on radio Humberside.
Whilst I appreciate that may upset some fans, we have recieved significant support in our stance and would hope the majority of people recognise our on going efforts to improve communication with you, our fans.
