Since it first opened in May 2003, Bridlington Links Golf Club has become a popular venue for many golfers.
the course sits atop the Bridlington Cliffs that overlook the town itself, as well as the bay and harbour, offering breathtaking scenic views to any golfers who take on this course.
Bridlington Golf Club boasts a 6,719-yard golf course, and the par 72 is an able challenge to golfers of all abilities amidst the spectacular settings of each hole.
Complementing the course is a floodlit driving range, a nine-hole short course and a practice area that prepares any golfer for the real thing.
The modern clubhouse has lots to offer golfers and non-golfers alike, with a bar, restaurant and two function suites that are available to hire for many purposes. It is the course, however, that attracts most.
The course is a mixture of very long and very short holes, but it is on the front nine where golfers need to stay ahead if they are to survive the bruising final nine holes.
The front nine are surrounded by four lakes that need to be negotiated if a decent score is to be made, with hole three being particularly difficult because of the two lakes on the left side approach to the green.

Holes two, four and seven are particularly short and need to be played well before reaching the long 10th hole which bisects the large trees.
The back nine features five par-four holes – each over 4000 yards – and two par fives, one of which measures 574 yards.
Natural elements must also be contended with from holes 14 through to 17, as these run directly adjacent to the Bridlington Cliffs. While offering panoramic views of the local area, the breeze from the North Sea worries even the best golfers.
The 18th hole is played towards another two lakes, one to the left of the fairway and the other bordering the rear of the green.
A wide variety of shots are needed to make the course easier than it may first appear. Run-up shots and high floating shots, draws and fades from tee shots and even some lay-ups are advisable.
However, when played well, this course offers fantastic satisfaction and a great sense of achievement.
