Place of birth: Brentwood, Essex.
Biography: For the past 25 years he has been resident professional at Brough Golf Club and director of golf for the past eight years. Since turning professional 38 years ago various tournament successes have been achieved including the Northern PGA professional Championship, the Yorkshire Professional Championship, eight times winner of the East Riding Open Championship and winner of the North Region PGA Order of merit in 1988 whilst the captain of the region. Two highlights of his golfing career were representing Great Britain and Ireland in the 1977 PGA Cup Team in America and in the later years securing his "tour card" for the 2005 European Seniors Tour.
