HULL CITY: Chelsea game off

HULL City's match with Chelsea at the KC Stadium tomorrow has fallen victim to the weather.

The Tigers had earlier posted a statement on their official website insisting they were "confident" their televised clash with the Premier League leaders would go ahead.

But heavy snowfalls put paid to their chances, and there are now only three Premier League fixtures taking place tomorrow – Arsenal v Everton, Birmingham v Manchester United and Wigan v Aston Villa.

The match's postponement is a real blow to the Tigers who were hoping to take advantage of the fact that no fewer than four of the Blues' first-teamers – including Didier Drogba – are currently away on international duty at the African Cup of Nations.
