Hull KR: Walker set for early return

​HULL KR's Chev Walker is set to return to action around two months ahead of schedule from the broken leg he suffered in the Robin's play-off defeat at Leeds Rhinos.

Walker will be Rovers' only player out of action for the start of the 2010 season, but coach Justin Morgan says he has been making amazing progress and could now be ready to return to action by Easter.

And as the coach continues to seek additional strength to his pack, he says Walker's progress could give him some more time with regards to recruitment in the forwards.

"One of the reasons we have not been rushing into things is that Chev is due to be back six to eight weeks earlier than expected and with that you become a little bit more relaxed about your squad," Morgan said.

"People have been looking at the pack, but forget that Chev will come back into the second-row for us and can do a quality job there."
