Location:
Beverley is one of the most popular small racecourses in Britain. Set on the historic "Westwood" area of common land, high above the market town of Beverley, this welcoming racecourse provides the perfect location for a rural day out. It boasts modern stands with an uninterrupted view of the mile-and-a-half circuit.
Directions:
By road
Follow the M62 to the A164 junction. Bear left, signposted Beverley and continue forward on the A164 for around eight miles. Just before Beverley, turn left onto the A1079, signposted Beverley Races. After three miles, take the fourth exit at the roundabout, signposted Beverley Races.
From York: Follow the A1079, from Bridlington and Scarborough the A165 to the A1035, while from the south follow the A15, cross the Humber Bridge and join the A164, and then as from the M62.
Transport:
Parking: There is ample free car parking on the Westwood, opposite the racecourse.By bus: There are frequent services to Beverley town centre, which is roughly a 15-minute walk from the course.
By train: Beverley is located close to Hull, which enjoys frequent direct rail services from all over the country. A train service from Hull to Beverley runs every 20 minutes. Local rail operators include Arriva Trains Northern, Hull Trains and GNER.
By air: Helicopters can land at the racecourse by prior agreement

Members enclosureAttraction's Restaurant: A high class, air-conditioned facility on the first floor of the Members' Stand, overlooking the racecourse. Pre-booking is recommended. An extensive menu, with a wine list to match. Three course meals vary from £16-20.
Members' Bar and Carvery: Served all day for beef and pork rolls. Also, a selection of sandwiches, salad bar, hot snacks and cakes. £3-5.
The Lawn Bar: Serves a selection of sandwiches. Drinking on the terrace is permitted but glasses are not allowed on the stands.
Bamboo Bistro: On the first floor of the Members' Grandstand, offering stunning views of the Westwood. A quiet corner for a cup of tea.
Grandstand and Paddock
Jockey Loft restaurant: On the first floor of the Main Grandstand for local fish and Yorkshire pudding, along with an excellent range of other dishes. Puddings and pastries are also excellent. £3-6
Rapid Lad Bar: Ideal punters bar, next to the betting shop. Good range of food, including carvery and hot snacks. £2-5
Paddock Bar: Good selection of sandwiches and snacks. £2-4
Others: The course also includes Fast-Flow Beer, Touch Above Bar, Fish and Chip shop and the Minster Buffet Bar, selling cakes, biscuits and open only on selected dates.
