COSTELLO Wolverines under-14s stay top of the Wyke League thanks to a 5-2 triumph against DCSI Falcons.

Wolverines took the lead with an excellent run from Alex Coldham straight through the centre of the DSCI defence which ended with a cool finish.

DSCI levelled and then took the lead with an excellent shot straight over the Costello keeper.

Costello came back with a goal from captain Tomi Middleton from just outside the area to make it 2-2 at half time.

In the second half, Costello took the lead with an excellent goal from Reece Egan, who showed some fancy footwork to create the scoring chance.

Middleton then made it 4-2 with an excellent volley from the edge of the area, before the win was sealed after James Nelson netted following a fine surge up field.
