Makali Aizue
Date of Birth: 30th Dec 1977
Place of Birth: Goroka, Papua New Guinea

PROFILE:
What you see is what you get with Macca. A no-nonsense prop who will run at defences all day long if you wanted him to. A popular member of the squad and remains Rovers’ longest serving player. Playing his compatriot Stanley Gene had brought out the best in him. Considered one of the quietest players ever to play the game. An injury plagued 2008 season scuppered Rovers' quest for the play-offs. Named in the Papua New Guinea squad for the World Cup. Waited until the final game of the 2008 season to score his first try of the campaign.
