Their hostelry is the Embassy Hotel on Hedon Road run by Club Chairman Dave Chester were the after match food is available and presentations are done. They are coached by Hull FC captain Lee Radford and he is assisted by Castleford Tigers Danny Brough.

The club were formerly known as Mysons in the old Humberside league but have gradually made their way through to the National Conference. They have a great mix of experienced players and young stars of the future.

Over the years Chester has been helped for much of the time by former Secretary Pete Smith. They have also had a lot of players who have gone on to play for Great Britain at amateur level and some to the professional level.

Over the past few years they have been involved in some massive games especially with victory over Swinton Lions in the Challenge Cup. They have also tasted defeat in the same competition by Hunslet Hawks two years ago and Oldham this season.

The club also run youth teams at every level from under 8 through to under 18 and then have the two Open Age teams. The second team, ‘The Dragons’ are coached by former player Mick Collinson and ex Embassy coach Andy Spenceley who have seen the side pick up the Yorkshire Cup beating Stanley Rangers this season. They also won the local BOCM Cup over the same Christmas period.

The first team are in the National Conference Premier Division and heading for the play offs. They have also reached the semi final of this season’s National Cup but went down to defeat at Ince Rose Bridge in Wigan.
